Robert Downey Jr. Unveils New Iron Man Suit

Seems like Tony Stark is up to his old habits of picking fights with other heroes. Recently, fresh pictures from the shooting of Avengers: Infinity War have surfaced, portraying Iron Man in a confrontation with his fellow good guys, Doctor Strange and Bruce Banner. These photos also reveal Robert Downey Jr. donning his new armor for the very first time.

Fresh Appearance: Candid Images from the Set of Avengers: Infinity War Reveal Robert Downey Jr in his Brand-New Armor

The latest photographs from the sets of Avengers: Infinity War exhibit Robert Downey Jr clad in his new armor for the first time. The images showcase him standing valiantly opposite Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Ruffalo, and Benedict Wong – the latter being Strange’s companion mystic, Wong. The photos seem to portray the aftermath of a massive battle that destroyed the Atlanta Georgia set.

Stark is no stranger to confrontations with his supposed comrades; the previous movie, Civil War, circulated around a divide between him and Captain America, with almost all the Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes taking sides. Bruce Banner’s Hulk was not involved in that storyline, while Stephen Strange had not yet joined the action.

However, both these superheroes appear to indicate which side they would have taken in Tuesday’s set pictures.

In what appears to be a scene after a massive battle that devastated the Atlanta Georgia set, there is a confrontation between Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Ruffalo, and Benedict Wong, who plays Strange’s fellow mystic Wong. Ruffalo, in his calmer persona as Dr. Banner, wearing casual clothing, is seen in the center of the trio seemingly trying to reason with Stark. Meanwhile, Strange, donning his Cloak of Levitation and Eye of Agamotto, and Wong, dressed in his character’s robes, are poised to cast spells. Although the three heroes should be able to defeat a solitary Iron Man with relative ease, the tension in the scene suggests that Stark has been powered up since the last film. Some fans even speculate that Stark’s power may have been heightened by the Soul Stone, the sixth and final Infinity Stone sought by Infinity Wars villain Thanos, played by Josh Brolin.

People believe that the new shape of his armor in Infinity War indicates that the Extremis Armor from the comics will make an appearance. The suit can be summoned by Tony Stark using the Underneath, which is a protective layer stored inside his bones at the nano-level. Earlier photos from the set showed Robert Downey Jr wearing a tight black top that had a circuitry look similar to some comic book depictions, although it wasn’t the gold color of the original material. Throughout the MCU, producer and Marvel President Kevin Feige has progressively introduced the six Infinity Stones.

Have you heard about the new photos released from the set of “Avengers: Infinity War”? One of the pictures showed Robert Downey Jr. wearing a tight black top that resembled the circuitry look found in some comic book depictions, although it was not the gold color of the source material. The photo also revealed different colored stones, including the blue Space Stone that Loki used in “The Avengers,” the yellow Mind Stone embedded in Vision’s forehead, the red Reality Stone entrusted to The Collector in “Thor: The Dark World,” the purple Power Stone wielded by Ronan The Accuser in “Guardians Of The Galaxy,” the green Time Stone inside Dr. Strange’s Eye of Agamotto, and the orange Soul Stone that will likely play a significant role in “Thor: Ragnarok.” Even though Tony Stark’s new armor will undoubtedly look impressive when the film is released on May 4th, the photo showed that he only had the top half of the suit while the bottom half was a motion capture suit that will later have digital effects added.

Amazing Massage: Ruffalo was seen giving a playful kiss and rub to his fellow Avengers actor, Benedict Cumberbatch, during a recent encounter.
