He admires Sylvester Stallone, who is two decades older than him, and looks up to him as a role model. Statham’s fitness routine includes Brazilian jiu-jitsu with his friend Guy Ritchie, whom he has a friendly competitive relationship with. In the early days of their friendship, they would practice choking techniques on each other by moving furniture around hotel rooms. Statham also acknowledged how people might perceive head injuries, assuming that they were caused by fights outside bars. He admires Stallone’s unorthodox approach to his craft and believes that observing successful people’s techniques can be beneficial.

Jason believes that McGregor has mastered every aspect of his craft, which makes him extremely confident in his abilities. Furthermore, Jason thinks that McGregor is unbeatable when it comes to teasing and mentally breaking down his opponents. Overall, Jason finds McGregor to be superb and simply cannot get enough of him.
